There is something remarkably mystical and self-empowering about creating a piece of art. An idea or a memory that gets composed and painted on a canvas can either be therapeutic or incredibly frustrating, mostly depending on the person who teaches you how to do it. I never thought I could paint and resorted to photography as my creative outlet. Then I met Caroline Brown. She encouraged me to try it. Believing that painting is not a natural born talent but a skill that is learned through study and practice.
